Carol and I awoke to a dense fog outside today. The bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes that were so prominent yesterday are barely visible today. Of course, we all know that the fog will dissipate as soon as the sun rises and the flowers will once again be in full view. All around us people have allowed the fog of sin, depression, worldly cares, and self ambition to obscure the light of the Gospel. Allowing Jesus to shine brightly through us will chase away the darkness that has rolled in like a dense fog over our world.
May our lamps be full and the Light burn brightly is my prayer.
