Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

One of the buzz words the world is using against the church today is judging. There seems to be no end to peopled accusing the church of being judgmental. Most of this talk is not true but there certainly are cases where the church has been guilty of judging people. I think it’s time for the church to turn the tide and begin to show forth the kind of compassion for sinners that Christ had. There really is no reason to point out or pick at the faults of others but rather we should work at restoring our brother in the spirit of meekness. Instead of spending time on the negative failure we should make our effort at presenting the positive aspect of Christ’s saving and restoring nature. If we will make Jesus look like He’s supposed to it will be easy for the lost to turn from sin and come to Him. May we make Jesus look so good that everyone will want to know Him.
