Luke 22:31,32  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: (32) But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Your adversary the devil is walking about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour; not the most comforting thought but one that is true. Equally true is this fact, Jesus is praying for you. That’s right, the Savior of the world, the Son of God, the bright and morning Star, the soon coming King is praying for you! He is seated at the right hand of His Father making intercession for His children. When the Apostle Peter was facing his greatest spiritual challenge Jesus encouraged him with these words; “I have prayed for thee”. As you face whatever the enemy is throwing at you be encouraged to know that Jesus is praying for you and I have to believe that His prayers will be answered. May we be encouraged by the prayers of Jesus is my prayer.
