2John 7,8 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
Years ago my parents purchased a small ranch in Tarkington Prairie. The previous owners had let the property run down and the pastures had been overtaken by tallow trees. Those tallow trees became a real challenge to get rid of because of their insidious root system. We would cut one down and three would come up. Taking back that land was hard work and giving it back to tallow trees was not something we were going to allow. We learned that the only way to get rid of those trees was to pull them up by their roots. If you’re giving back ground to the enemy, pull up the roots of sin and move forward in spiritual walk. Don’t let the enemy take back any ground that you’ve gained. May we be persistent in our pursuit of holiness is my prayer.
Keeping it Real!
