Faith or Fact?

Mark 15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.

This seems to be the trouble with most people and their faith walk; they want to see before they believe. All the way up to Christ’s death on the cross people are saying, do something miraculous and then we will believe in you. We could call this the “Thomas syndrome”. You know, unless I see I can’t believe. There’s a part of me that totally gets it, but then I also understand the power of believing without seeing. The Bible calls this faith, and without faith the Bible says it’s impossible to please God. God gets excited about a people who believe without seeing, who walk by faith and not by sight, and who wear their faith as a shield that quenches all the fiery darts of the enemy. Believe me when I tell you that facts will always get in the way of your faith but facts should never deter us from believing in God. May we all allow our faith to sore as we believe God for the miraculous is my prayer.

Keeping it Real!
