Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

What a thought! That the God of the universe is on my side is almost too incredible to believe, but it’s true. When a 13 year old boy named David went out on to the battle field to face a 9’6″ giant named Goliath, he didn’t go alone. His strength was not in his humanity, he had found his strength in God. He knew that God was for him and that He would accompany him into battle. The size of his opposition was irrelevant because of who was on his side. We should always focus on the who, not on the what. There is always going to be something working against us, but God is always on the side of the believer. The who (God) always outweighs the what. As you head out to face another day focus on God, not your problems and opposition. May we be encouraged in who is on our side is my prayer.
