Psalms 108:1 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

Is your heart fixed? Steadfast, in the confidence of faith? If it is you can face anything! That’s all it takes for a believer to make it through every trial we face. On September 13, 2008 Galveston, Texas took a direct hit from hurricane Ike. Damage from the storm totaled $12Billion. One area of Galveston in particular was totally wiped off the map expect for one house left standing alone in a neighborhood of debris. The reason that house was left standing is that it was built on pillars 22 feet above the sea level and the framing was done using hurricane ties. It was fixed!  Make your faith foundation sure and fix your heart on Jesus and you will stand when everything around you is falling. May the storms of life only serve to make us stronger as we stand in our faith is my prayer.
