Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
With our country falling deeper and deeper into sin and a President throwing parties to celebrate it, the human tendency is to want to crawl into a cave somewhere and just get away from it all. I want to remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul, “think on these things”. When thoughts of isolation and depression press in on you, fill your mind with true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and good thoughts. Reflect upon the blessings God has bestowed upon you. Think of the times of visitation by the Holy Ghost you have enjoyed in times of despair in the past. And meditate on the promises in God’s Word. Allow God’s Spirit to settle and strengthen your spirit and fill you with His peace. May your mind be at peace is my prayer.
Keeping it Real!
