John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We hear a lot of talk today about the church being judgmental. The truth is that what people think about each other and however we choose to judge each other isn’t going to change one thing about what God says about condemnation. There are only two eternal destinations; heaven and hell. We are either condemned to hell or welcomed into heaven. The determining factor for our eternal existence rests in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He must be the Lord of our lives if we are to enter heaven. The final word on condemnation is this: it is the rejection of Christ that condemns us, not the judgement of people. Our acceptance of Christ frees us from condemnation and opens the doors of heaven to us. Jesus died so that we might have eternal life, won’t you give your self to the One who died for you? May today be your day of salvation is my prayer.
