1Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

I like to remind myself on a regular basis of my position as a human being; God is the creator and I am the creation. I am organized dust, inhabited by a soul and spirit. As the creation our power is limited and our struggle with the flesh is a daily fight that can not be won on our own. If we’re not careful we can fall into the trap of thinking we have it made and don’t need the help of God. It is in this frame of mind that many have fallen prey to the temptations of sin. Remind yourself today that you can not make it by yourself, call out to God and enlist His help and strength. The Apostle Paul said, “when I am weak He is strong” and “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”. May we lean on God and trust Him to guide our every step is my prayer.
