The night I met my wife she was standing with a group of her friends. All those girls were pretty and they all had endearing qualities, but there was something about my wife that made her stand out in the crowd. We soon found out that we had many things in common, the same goals and desires, and a mutual attraction. The thing that causes us to stand out in the crowd to God, is godliness. When you and I emulate the holy lifestyle of Christ it gets God’s attention. In holiness, God sees Himself reflecting in our lives, which proves to Him that we are pursuing a relationship with Him. May we all exude the nature of our God is my prayer.
