Exodus 27:20

“You shall charge the sons of Israel, that they bring you clear oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.”

The charge God gave Israel to keep the lamp burning is our charge today. The light of the Gospel of Christ must not go out if this world is to have any chance for salvation. We must let the light shine brightly so that others may know and be saved. For the light of the Gospel to burn in us we must: Study God’s Word, stay full of His Spirit, pray for boldness, and speak the truth to everyone we meet. As we do, the truth of the Gospel will produce salvation! May we allow the light of the Gospel to shine brightly in us is my prayer.
