Judges 7:10

But if you are afraid to go down, go with Purah your servant down to the camp,

God knew that Gideon’s weakness was fear. To help him deal with his fear God told him to take his servant with him. We all struggle with fear at times and some of us deal with fear more than others. Sometimes the best way to deal with fear is to surround ourselves with people who support us. The feeling of being alone will exasperate our fears and the feeling of strength we gain from others will counteract our fears. May we strengthen one another as we combat the spirit of fear is my prayer.
