Ruth 2:12 

The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

Hard work and perseverance always pay off, that’s what my Dad taught me. Not only is that true in our physical life, it’s also true in our spiritual life. The promises of God do not just drop in our lap out of Heaven, they are conditional. God sets the conditions, we do the work, and He pours out His blessings on us. The disciplines of christianity take hard work and perseverance but they are worth it. May we be blessed of the Lord as we work in His kingdom is my prayer.
