1 Samuel 3:1

And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

In the days of Eli it was rare for the Lord to speak, the sins of his sons had cut Israel off from the word of God. His Word became precious and the people longed to hear Him speak. How long has it been since you could say, “God has spoken to me”? Our families, our country, and even our churches are in desperate need of the word of God. It’s time to purify ourselves of sin and seek the face of God once again until we can hear His voice. May we all hear the voice of God is my prayer.
