2 Samuel 13:15

Then Amnon hated her with a very great hatred; for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. And Amnon said to her, “Get up, go away!”

Sin is always the same; there is the temptation that looks so good, then there is the contemplation of it that fills our minds and consumes our thoughts, and then there is the implementation of the sin. There is one more step to sin that the enemy doesn’t want you to know about; the condemnation. See, once sin is fulfilled the enemy heaps condemnation on us to try to destroy us, which is his goal all along. We must learn to cut off sin at the point of temptation so that we never contemplate or implement it and never live our life in condemnation. May we shun the very appearance of evil is my prayer.
