2 Kings 1:16 

Then he said to him, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Beelzebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of His Word?  Therefore you shall not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but shall surely die.'”

Why is it we tend to look for answers everywhere but where we need to? While we are running to and fro trying to find answers for our problems God is standing right next to us anxiously awaiting us to come to Him. It’s always God’s desire to commune with us, whether in times of need or just in that daily conversation we should be having with Him. Prayer should be a constant part of our lives and when a need arises it will be easy for us to take it to God. May we never leave God out of our conversation is my prayer.
