1 Chronicles 21:13

David said to Gad, “I am in great distress; please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great.  But do not let me fall into the hand of man.

If your looking for justice in this world’s system you can forget it. Men are corruptible and make decisions from their own biased viewpoints, but God is incorruptible and can only be just and righteous. He delivers His judgements with compassion and mercy with the well being of the recipient at the forefront of His thoughts. His judgements may be painful, but a good, loving, spanking never hurt anybody and when God spanks us it’s always for our good. May we be thankful for God’s mercy and judgement is my prayer.
