Psalm 23:6

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Every day we have to make decisions that will effect our lives; where to work, where to eat, where to go to school, who to befriend, etc.  But, the greatest and most important decision we will ever make is where we will spend eternity. The Psalmist knew that because he loved God and followed His ways that he would enjoy God’s blessings here and he would live with God forever throughout eternity. Forever is a long, long time and we should live our lives with eternity in view. Don’t let the little decisions you face today keep you from making the most important decision of your life; where you will spend your forever. May we live with eternity in view is my prayer.
