Psalm 49:16,17

Do not be afraid when a man becomes rich, when the glory of his house is increased; (17) for when he dies he will carry nothing away; his glory will not descend after him.

You’ve heard it said, “you don’t get to take a Uhaul with you when you leave here”. So, why is it that men struggle so hard for stuff that in the end means nothing. When our life on earth is finished the only things that will matter are: Was I a follower of Christ? Did I lead others to Him? and Did I raise my children to honor God? How much land we own or how big our house is will not matter after we’re gone but how we lived and effected others will. May we honor God and point others to Him is my prayer.
