Ecclesiastes 4:9,10

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. (10) For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.

The lion follows the herd of cape buffalo searching for an easy meal. As soon as one of them wanders off alone the lion swoops in and devours him. Alone he is easy prey, but with the herd he is protected. Our lives are like that, if we stay connected there is safety and security but when we’re alone we are easy prey for the enemy. When you’re discouraged fight the temptation to isolate yourself and seek the safety of family, the church, and friends. Don’t let the enemy single you out and devour you. May we encourage and strengthen one another is my prayer.
