Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.

You’ve heard it said that, “nothing lasts forever”. While that is true for the things of man, it is not true when it comes to God’s Word. God has established His Word as the foundation of everything, it is settled in the heavens, it is true, it is sure, and it is the Rock on which all Christians stand. God’s Word is not amendable, it is indisputable, and it is just. Men who disagree with it, do so at their own peril because God’s Word is the only way to salvation. May we stand on God’s Word so that we may stand forever is my prayer.
