Jeremiah 9:23, 24

Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; (24)but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises loving kindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the Lord.

It’s sad to see so many people do just the opposite of what God says to do. People boast all the time about what they can or are going to do just to make themselves look foolish when they fail. If we’re going to boast about anything it should be about God. We should boast about His love, His kindness, and His unfailing Word. When we do, we will delight our Heavenly Father and bring glory to His name. May we boast in God is my prayer.
