Ezekiel 12:2 

Son of man, you live in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes toes but do not see, ears to hear but do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.

It’s amazing how 2 people can see and hear the same thing and have completely different understandings of what they saw and heard. The reason for this is that we have conditioned our selves to think a certain way. Many times we have rebelled against the truth so long that we have convinced ourselves that what is wrong, is right. The danger of this is that rebellion alienates us from God. We must be clay in the Master’s hands, we must be open to His guidance, and we must remain obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit if we are to stay in right relationship with Him. May our eyes be open and our ears be attentive to God is my prayer.
