Judges 17:6

In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.

God has given us the Bible so that we would know what He has done for us and what He expects from us. Man left to himself has the potential for great evil, that’s why we have laws and leaders. If I left it up to my grandchildren my diet would consist of oreo cookies, chocolate milk, and Hershey’s chocolate bars. Not bad if you want to be mal-nourished and over weight, but not good for being healthy. That’s why we don’t let toddlers lead us and make our rules. Submit yourself to the leadership of Christ and allow Him to guide your life. You will find that when Christ leads the way, the grass is greener, the water more pure, and your soul restored. May we allow Christ to lead us is my prayer.
