The genealogies recorded in 1 Chronicles tells us about the life and death of the kings. What’s noted about each is the record of their children. We’re all going to die unless we are taken in the rapture. What we do between birth and death will be our legacy. Will we leave a mark on this planet before we die, will our children be given a legacy worth carrying on, and will we pass on the blessings of God to the next generation? These are the things that matter. It might be good for us to ask ourselves what kind of legacy are we leaving to our children? May our lives bring glory to God and may our legacy be that we trusted in Him is my prayer.
