They were well-trained in the sacred music, all of them masters. There were 288 of them.

God has called all of us to be used by Him and has gifted everyone of us with our own unique abilities and talents. Knowing that God has gifted us does not release us from the work of perfecting our gifts. We should receive training that will increase our abilities and we should constantly work on honing our craft. Whether we are an administrator, a singer, or a preacher we should all be working to improve ourselves. May we work toward excellence in all we do is my prayer.
