The first thing he did after his father was dead and buried was to recover Elath for Judah and rebuild it. (the Message)

That’s just like God, to make the first order of business rebuilding what has been torn down. Life tends to take it’s toll on us with the day to day grind of work, the drama of dealing with people, and the attacks of the enemy. Our faith weakens, our bodies wear down, and spirits drain, that’s where God steps in. God is in the business of rebuilding people. He heals our bodies, invigorates our spirit, and restores our soul. He makes us new so that we can go forth and do His will. May we allow God to rebuild, restore, and renew us is my prayer.
