Nehemiah 6:9

They were trying to intimidate us into quitting. They thought, “They’ll give up; they’ll never finish it.” I prayed, ” Give me strength.”  (The Message)

The message of Nehemiah is one of hard work, determination, and focus. While his enemies worked tirelessly against him, Nehemiah kept his focus on the task at hand. The work continued no matter what happened around them. The enemy is always trying to get us off track, to lose our way, and give up on our dreams and visions. We must learn how to be relentless in the face of our opposition. The key to Nehemiah’s success was his reliance on God’s help and his faith in God’s plan. Keep your focus on what really matters today, believe in God’s plan for you, and ask Him to strengthen you for the task at hand and you will enjoy the success He brings. May we never quit in our pursuit of God’s will is my prayer.
