Esther 8:2

The king took off his signet ring, which he had taken back from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. Esther appointed Mordecai over Haman’s estate. (the Message)

The book of Esther is a wonderful illustration of how God takes the evil plans of the enemy and turns them into a time of blessing and empowerment for His people. While we’re worrying and brooding over our bad situations God is planning our deliverance and blessing. While we’re hiding in fear and smothering in our doubt God is moving heaven and earth to change our situation. He literally turns our enemy’s plans upside down! Being a child of God is the most awesome thing that can happen to a person and as such we should learn to expect our Father to bless us even when it doesn’t look possible. May we trust God to bring us into a place of blessing is my prayer.
