Psalm 11:7

God’s business is putting things right; He loves getting the lines straight, setting us straight. Once we’re standing tall, we can look Him straight in the eye. (the Message)

This is what God does, He takes our mess and makes it right. Being a contractor/remodeler I spend my days repairing and restoring what is usually a rotten mess. We take a house that is suffering from years of neglect and make it look new again. God’s business is restoring our lives to what He intended them to be. He leads us out of sin into righteousness, replaces our fear and doubt with faith, removes our sadness and fills us with joy. Throughout the whole process He overwhelms us with His love while making us new again. May we allow the Holy Spirit to restore us is my prayer.
