Psalm 51:10-12

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (11) Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. (12) Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit.

Most, if not all of our problems begin on the inside of us. King David realized this and cried out to God for inner healing, a heart cleansing, spirit changing, internal work of the Holy Spirit. This should be our prayer also. Asking God to do a work in us is vital to our spiritual success and creates stability within our spirit. May we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts is my prayer.
