Jeremiah 42:3 

Pray that your God will tell us the way we should go and what we should do.

As people wander around aimlessly in the darkness of this world, they are desperately looking for someone who can show them the way. Intercessory prayer is our way to speak to God on their behalf. As He reveals to us the way they should go and we declare it to them God will be glorified before their eyes. May we intercede for everyone in our lives is my prayer.
