“Don’t think you need a lot of extra equipment for this. You are the equipment. No special appeals for funds. Keep it simple.

One of the coolest things about Junior High was the day we received our equipment for the upcoming football season. Putting on those big shoulder pads, the new cleats, and that blue and gold helmet with the big hornet on it made me feel 10 feet tall. Of course, reality set in the first time I was knocked down. To do God’s will you don’t need anything, He will provide everything you need, He just needs us to be willing. You are the equipment! May we submit ourselves to God’s service is my prayer.
