1 Peter 3:17

For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.

There were many times that I didn’t receive exactly what I wanted for Christmas. Sometimes when I wanted a new bicycle or a certain toy, I was given socks and underwear instead. As a child it was hard to understand the reasons my parents did what they did but now as an adult I totally get it. Just like my parents, God doesn’t always give us what we want and even allows pain and suffering because there is a higher purpose that He is leading us to. May we trust God with every situation in our lives is my prayer.
