Exodus 20:7

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.

Does anyone know about this commandment anymore? We’re not supposed to take the name of God in vain! He even adds that He will not leave those who do unpunished. Using omg as an expression of your emotion may look and sound cute but it is disrespectful of God’s name. His name is holy and should be kept that way. May we respect the name of our God is my prayer.
