Romans 6:12,13

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, 13 and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 

Just as Kings try to conquer territory to expand their rulership, satan is trying to conquer us. His battle plan is to appeal to the lust of our flesh by dangling sin in front of us. To counteract his attacks we must war against our lustful desires and present ourselves holy to God. Filling our minds with the Word of God, praying always, and fellowshipping with God’s people will all help us to stay strong in the Lord. May we present ourselves holy to God is my prayer.
