Romans 6:22,23

But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I assume that most people think that life is one big game and the only thing that matters is whether your’e having fun or not. This way of thinking couldn’t be farther from the truth. How we live, the attitudes we espouse, and the things we partake of all have eternal consequences. The life we are living now will determine our eternity and nothing could be more serious than that. May we be sanctified by Christ and enjoy all of His benefits is my prayer.
