Jeremiah 29: 8

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Do not let your prophets who are in your midst and your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams which they dream.

Deception comes at us from every conceivable angle, it even comes from those who are charged with overseeing our spiritual leadership. To avoid deception we must arm ourselves with the truth of God’s Word. It is our responsible to study God’s Word, commune with Him about His Word, and learn His voice. Knowing God is the best defense against deception. May we never be deceived is my prayer.
