John 1:5

The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

This little verse explains the big difference between Christians and those who are not. Christians have opened their lives to the light of God and allowed it to illuminate the ways of God. Without the light of God there is no way to successfully navigate this world and those who have rejected it remain lost in the darkness. Our job as a Christian is to allow the light to shine through us so that the lost might believe and be saved. May we not only except the light but may we allow it to shine brightly in us is my prayer.
