1 john 1:9

 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 

“If”, what a big word. “If” is what stands between many people and eternal life. “If” means it’s possible if you do, if you confess your sins to God, then eternal life can be yours. Maybe the reason everyone doesn’t confess is because they know that confession means you have to turn away from the sin to come to Christ and many people are not ready to leave their sins. “If” you will confess, eternal life can be yours, “if” not, it can’t, it’s as simple as that. May we all confess our sins and repent of them is my prayer.
