Matthew 23:37

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Three things that Jesus tries to do, but we won’t let Him: 1) Speak to us through His messengers. 2) Gather us to Him. 3) Protect us. Maybe we should trade the “would not” to “will”. May we all allow Jesus to work in our lives is my prayer.
