Exodus 20:1-3

And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20 records the giving of the ten commandments. This was God’s way of recording His standard for living. He did this once and wrote them in stone because they will never change and those who love Him, live them. May we live God’s standard is my prayer.
