2 Peter 2:11,12

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Many people today say that it doesn’t matter how we live as long as we’re not hurting anybody. News flash! When we live immorally it hurts God! His reputation depends on the actions of His people, so our deeds must match our words. To live like Christ we must resist the lusts of the flesh and yield to the working of the Holy Spirit as He leads us. May we listen to the voice of God, overcome the lusts of the flesh and glorify His name is my prayer.
