James 1:26

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless.

What’s inside us always creeps out of our mouths. Things we don’t even want to, spew out in times of anger or bitterness revealing our heart. James says that true christians bridle the tongue and maybe the best way to do that is to keep our heart pure. May our hearts control our mouths is my prayer.
