Hebrews 11:1,2

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Hearing a word from God is good, but acting on what He says takes faith. The action of our faith is what activates the promises of God in our lives. No faith, no promise, that’s just how it works. When we activate our faith we not only receive the promise, we also find the favor of God because our faith in Him excites Him. May we believe to receive the promises of God is my prayer.
