Galatians 5:17

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

This is where the biggest struggle of our lives takes place. The war between the Spirit of God and our flesh. The Holy Spirit woos us and implores us to what’s eternal and right while our flesh is tempted by what is temporal and evil. To win this battle we must stay close to God by reading His Word, conversing with Him in prayer and fellowshipping with the saints. May we win the battle with our flesh is my prayer.
