1 Samuel 30:6

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

Sometimes not only does it seem like everything is against, it is! When multiplied troubles hit us all at once and there are no encouragers to be found we can make it through if we can learn from David. Encourage yourself in the Lord! Remind yourself of His goodness and blessings, remind yourself of His faithfulness, and remind yourself that He will never leave you nor forsake you. May we be encouraged in our God is my prayer.
