Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I heard a preacher say, “if there’s no peace Jesus is not in it”. One of the names of Jesus is The Prince of Peace, which declares His mastery over peace. Where Jesus is there is peace, whether in a storm asleep on a pillow or in the garden praying, “not My will but Your will be done”. If our Lord is The Prince of Peace then we should have peace as well. May we tap into the peace that Jesus has for us is my prayer.
