Lamentations 3:21-23

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

The Lord’s compassions are fresh and new every morning! His mercies extend past yesterday and greet us as the sun rises. He feels what we feel, hurts when we hurt, and He longs to show His compassion to us. As we stand on the brink of a new decade, why not start 2020 by receiving God’s grace and mercy? Turn from sin, repent, and receive the compassions of the Lord. May we receive of the Lord’s compassions is my prayer.
